Shamanism 101: Healing Ceremony
This workshop is NOT primarily a journey. You may choose how actively to participate by being honest with yourself about circumstances, ideas, and relationships that you feel need healing. Dwight will prompt you, individually and gently guide you and protect you to learn more about yourself and your feelings about forgiveness, guilt, shame, and ultimate healing. Connecting to the deepest parts of yourself will, paradoxically, allow you to connect to others at a deeper level.
This class will be led by The Atlanta Shaman, Dwight Harriman. It is an individual deep guided meditation done to drum and rattle by Dwight. You will be seated on provided chairs or pillows – bringing your favorite cushion or blanket is optional. Time for discussion after the ceremony is encouraged and often helpful. Meditation on what is revealed for you is suggested for some time afterward.
